Culturally Responsive Education Integrating Culturally Responsive Sustaining Education (CRSE) These resources aim to support educators in implementing the New York State Education Department’s CR-S framework in remote and hybrid learning environments. Module 6: The How: Intention and Impact This final module has you take time to reflect on each of the principles in the NYSED CR-SE framework. Module 5: Ongoing Professional Learning In this module, participants will explore and design around the themes of holding ourselves accountable, continuously educating ourselves, and intentionally growing our professional learning networks. How do we ensure that we are doing more than paying lip service to the phrase "high expectations"? Module 2: Welcoming and Affirming Learning Environments The first principle in the NYSED CRSE framework is a “Welcoming and Affirming Environment.” Module 1: You Are Here: The Why Why is Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) so important, especially when instruction shifts to remote or hybrid learning?
